{ hope anne }

Look how big my little Hope has gotten! I can't believe how fast time is going... she's changed so much. Look at her chubby little cheeks and rubber band wrists. I just love her!

Her daddy sure can make her smile

Yay! Chubby fingers!

Peek-a-boo

She's such happy baby!

{ meet baby logan }

Meet Logan James.... the third adorable addition to the Sylvester family. I swear this little guy is destined to be one of the world's greatest sleepers. Not only was he perfectly willing to let me pose him this way and that, but he was able to sleep through all the excitement and commotion from his big brother and sister, Landen and Lauren (who were buzzing around the house with the most enviable amount of energy).

This is quickly turning into one of my signature photos... there's just something irresistible about a sleeping baby in a basket.

Landen loves his baby brother...

Talk about a beautiful family...

Big brother and sis... with cool shirts to show off their new roles in the family.

Love this pose, Alissa! Thanks for the tip :-)

I love the way Lauren is checking Logan out... she's still not sure what this whole little brother thing is all about, but she loves holding him.

{ Christmas in October }

Hello!

It's about that time again... the holidays will be here before you know it! If you would like some awesome, stress-free holiday portraits taken this year start thinking October- the craziness of the season hasn't quite kicked in yet, and there's plenty of time for designing cards, ordering prints, and wrapping them up all pretty.

{ happy birthday natalie! }

Happy birthday to one of my favorite kid-friends, Natalie! She's turning the big 5, and we had so much fun at our 'modeling' session today... just look at how ridiculously adorable she is!

Oh! And a special thanks to The Hope Chest in Old Towne Orange for the amazing outfits... I absolutely love their clothes. (pssst! They're finally opening their doors this weekend, go check them out... on the west side of the circle next to the dance studio).

She just posed herself and all I had to do was click away...

That was my headband until I saw how cute it was on her... now it's hers.

One of my favorites of the day:

If you think her smile is cute, you should hear her giggle. It's waaaay too cute.

{ MOMS Club Portrait Party }

My cousin Debby has one awesome MOMS Club group... with adorable kids. So when she decided to plan a portrait party for her members I was all over it. Here are some highlights:

My cousins, Brandon, Lauren, and Ryan

He is such a happy little guy when he's outside.

She is just a natural beauty... and so super sweet and demure.

Brandon: up and coming videographer.

Yannick is so cool and easy going...

I love it when siblings aren't opposed to cuddling.

Anouk must watch Top Model... she gave me a different head tilt with every click of my camera.

Bryson couldn't keep his hands off Brody...

Love their eyes...

Ok, seriously? I wished I could hug and squeeze him as much as his big bro.

Virginia and her boys...

Little Sam... the basket took a field trip back to where I originally found it at Debby's house.

Gavin was waaaaayyyy cooler than me... just look at his awesome style.

Tanner made me work for my pictures... he actually loved the studio set up better than outdoor portraits... who'd have thought?

Jaden was a natural in front of the camera... just look at those amazing eyelashes.

These 3 were soo soo so so so adorable together. All smiles and ready to pose for me as soon as I asked.

{ I heart faces }

Hello everyone! I just thought I'd take a stab at the 'I heart faces' contest this week... the theme is crazy, silly faces. I'm sure I have other more nutty photos to enter, but the one I chose is a favorite of mine because Landen wasn't trying to make a silly face- he just did. It's such a subtle and sweet expression, don't you think?

As for those waiting for my weekly top 8... I, uh, haven't gotten to it yet (been soooo busy!) which basically makes the 'weekly' part of the title a fib. I think it'll have to be renamed. Maybe 'my top 8 of late' or '8 lately'....? I dunno.

{ the hope chest - downtown orange }

When Christina called me she was buzzing with excitement- I could actually tell she was smiling over the phone. Super curious and excited by her energy I listened to her speech: After years of running a successful ebay store she and an old friend decided to open a brick and mortar children's boutique at the Orange Circle... and she wanted me to shoot the art for the walls and be the store's exclusive photographer... what?! Of course!

I've known Christina since I was a little, little girl... she was the cool older kid a few doors down from my house. Our moms and brothers were best friends so she was basically stuck with the chubby, red headed, freckled neighbor following her around all day. I LOVED it... despite the haunted house stories, and embarrassing parts in homemade plays :-)

Now we're all grown up and I am so honored that Christina and Colleen have asked me to be their photographer. I had a ridiculously fun time working with Christina's 3 kids and Colleen's gang of gorgeous blondie nieces and nephews. Check out how cute these clothes are, and keep an eye out for the store's grand opening soon... they're working like crazy to get it open before the street fair in September. I'll keep you posted!

Oh! And by-the-way this is a long one... I wanted to be sure to show off all my models and their awesome outfits...

Just look at all these blue eyes...

I love all the colors in these clothes... they went so well with all the colors and textures of downtown Orange.

Seriously? They are so cute!

You go Sophie!

Luka's coat was so cool... I'd wear it if it came in my size *sigh*

Little fairy princess dress... I'd have LOVED this when I was a kid!

These boots are the best! What little girl wouldn't beg to wear these every day?

All I did was ask them what their boyfriend's name was...

Part sweater, part dress, part tutu? Doesn't get any better...

These blue eyes are the real thing- I swear I didn't even touch them in photoshop.

Luka was loving this moment. LOL

Awe, Ethan- I've photographed him since he was just a baby. He's so big now...

She did not want me near her with my camera at first... needless to say, she warmed up.

I want my husband to wear these kinds of shirts every day... I LOVE them.

And last, but not least...
