{ alex } Fullerton Portrait Photographer

Meet Alex. I just met him today myself, though I feel like I've known him for years... he's my awesome hairstylist's son and you know how girls like to chat :-)

Anyway, this morning Alex rode around Downtown Fullerton on his scooter while I looked for interesting places to shoot. I was actually a bit nervous because I knew how cool Alex was going to be and I was a bit worried he'd hate being in front of the camera.

He has the best hair... of course.

This is one of my favorites :-)

PS if anyone needs a great hairstylist ask for Angelica at Alexander's Grand Salon in Anaheim Hills... she is ahhhhhh-mazing!

{ bleh..... and music }

Twitter and Facebook have been lit up with people saying they've gotten sick this past week and I actually remember thinking that I was so lucky I had a great immune system..... JYNX! My throat is on fire and while I was pouting on couch wishing for the homemade chicken soup fairy to come I rediscovered one of my old favorite music videos.

I've seen this video a million times, but there's just something about it that still gets to me. The animation goes so perfectly with the feel of the song and it always changes my mood.

Anyway, happy Friday to all you un-sickies out there! And for the sickies- drink your weight in green tea and watch a movie... that's my plan for the day :-)

{ ramon + sheila } Orange County Engagement Portraits

Meet Ramon and Sheila... they are awesome. Seriously. They had me smiling throughout their whole engagement shoot. I don't really know why... I guess it's just because they make such a great couple. Ramon had Sheila laughing the whole time and I just loved how easy going they were with one another. I'm so so so excited for their July wedding.

I tried my best to find some different places to shoot at the Orange Circle and thought this was a cool spot.

I love smiling. It's my favorite.

Quick stop at the movie theater cuz they're big movie watchers. Ramon thought this would be a cool place to shoot... what an awesome idea, huh?

I've also been on the lookout for cool light... you like it?

{ roman nicholas }

Yay! Roman is finally here! I've been looking forward to this shoot ever since Kirstie and Nick hired me to do their maternity shoot in December (click here to check it out).

They have an awesome home and I really could have shot there all day... but Roman wouldn't have it :-) He really put me to work, but it all worked out in the end. Be sure to watch the slideshow at the end of the post... there you'll find the cutest little grumpy face you've ever seen and Daddy's "I told you he was gonna pee on our bed" expression.
